Privacy Policy
What Sillqx keeps, and where.
Effective 10 September 2026. Sillqx is a local iPhone app for framing a photograph taken from a train seat. It does not create an account and does not host your tickets on our servers.
Who we are
Sillqx is provided for use on iOS. This policy describes the Sillqx iPhone application. If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the date above.
No account
You do not sign in. There is no user name we issue, and we do not operate a Sillqx cloud for your rides.
What stays on your iPhone
The following is stored in the app’s sandbox on this device, until you delete it or remove the app:
- Ride tickets you add: service name, seat plaque, boarding time, trip length, notes, gasket settings, and which photo is shown in the window.
- Photographs you place in a seat window, including extra shots on the same ticket.
- Optional voice notes you record on a ride.
- An optional display name and portrait on Me.
- Reminder switches, coin balance, and purchase records needed to unlock paid exports on this device.
Me includes Clear all data. That deletes rides, frames, window photos and voice notes on this device. Coins return to the welcome amount. We cannot restore that local file from our side because we never received a copy.
Permissions
Sillqx asks for a permission only when you use the matching action. You can refuse. The rest of the app still works.
- Camera. To photograph the view outside the glass so you can place it in that seat’s frame. You can use Photos instead.
- Photos (read). To place an existing picture from your library into a window. The app reads the image you pick; it does not scrape the whole library in the background.
- Photos (add). To write a seat window or a seat pass into your library after you confirm Save.
- Microphone. Only to record an optional voice note on a ride. Recording only; the app does not turn speech into text.
- Notifications. Optional local bells for boarding and for a named window stretch on a ticket. These are scheduled on the device. Turning the master switches off on Me stops them.
- App Tracking Transparency. iOS may ask whether Sillqx can use the advertising identifier for personalized features. You can decline and still use every feature. Sillqx does not require an account, and this source build does not send your tickets or photos to an analytics or advertising service we operate.
Purchases
Optional coin packs are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment. We receive a transaction result so the app can add coins on this device. We do not collect your card number. Refunds, billing questions and family sharing follow Apple’s rules.
Saving a seat window to Photos is free. Spending coins is only for paid extras you confirm in the app, such as an HD seat pass or a PDF.
Children
Sillqx is not directed at children under 13. Do not use it to store photographs of children in a way that would be unlawful in your region.
Sharing
We do not sell your ride list. Photos and voice notes do not leave the device unless you export them yourself (for example Save to Photos, or a PDF you share). Apple may process purchase and operating-system data under Apple’s own policies.
